If he has any aspirations to be our manager this is when we need him most.

Motivation at least is better than nothing at all.
 
Groundhog day this like :lol: Swear we've been through this cycle culminating in everyone wanting Bally as manager for about 5/6 years
 
We need to make a change. The club would never have imagined it would come to this but there comes a time when you just can't carry on with doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome.

We have on paper decent players. But they clearly need to be better managed in terms of tactics but also motivation. These players are hugely paid and are set up for life. Motivating them is everything. And SG clearly can't do it so a change is inevitable. If SG is still in charge after tonight the club have lost the plot totally. Unfortunately that won't be the first or last time and it may well be that we're happy to continue to sleepwalk towards the inevitable.

Sad, sad, times. And to think many on here wanted us being relegated from the PL as life in the championship would apparently reinvigorate the club and make everything better!!!
 
why not- give him till the end of the season- i mean whoever comes in wont be getting any money in january anyway-
at least he knows the academy players which is the only place we'll be getting any more players coming in
