If we don't get relegated to League One this coming season, I'll be astonished....

We're no worse off than we were at this stage of the season when we were promoted under Keane. Far too soon to be panicking. Nothing I haven't seen before - I'm not about to let it ruin my life.
Mmmmm.
Back then, we had the positive energy of Niall's ongoing endeavours (albeit behind the scenes) and we had the excitement of his ambitions for the club. We even managed a home victory as Keano sat watching in the stand! Ahead, we had his whirlwind transfer odyssey.

This is nothing like the 'same stage' as when we were promoted under Keano.

The point is, though, that the doom and gloom is being overdone. Probably because we're too accustomed to an upturn not happening. People are looking at the squad and comparing it to a PL squad. Man for man it's as good, if not better, than most of the other teams. What we haven't got yet is a team - it's a collection of individuals that haven't gelled because there have been so many (too many?) changes since last year. It should be well capable of improvement, probably inspired by Vaughan scoring a fluke goal off his backside for a spawny 1-0 win ;)

I'd take it.
