Swansea City are beatable. I said at the start of the season, if we could wrack up points from these earlier games, that would be great. I’d take a point at . Against Manchester United they matched them for 20-30 minutes but then faded away - so they’re beatable.

Yes, they’ve got Wilfried Bony, but is he the Bony of three or four years ago? Also Sanchez but he’s coming into the Premier League for the first time - that won’t be easy.

We have the players to hit them on the counter - so let’s have a go. We have the pace; or Christian Atsu.

I think you have to stick with and Isaac Hayden after the West Ham game; there were lots of positives and it was important we won that game. Three goals, a clean sheet and confidence.

- he owes it to the fans to see it out, stay at the club. That’s why he’s here anyway, the fans and not Mike Ashley.

They love him, he loves them and it’s a good partnership. Of course it’s a challenge to keep the squad in the Premier League, but one he’ll relish.

I understand he was planning to buy a team to get promoted, which he did, and then rip it apart and get a different team - which he has got nowhere near that. He wanted seven or eight players of real Premier League ability and he hasn’t got anywhere near. There is still quality but you look at other teams, they’ve shown ambition and backed their manager to the hill. It’s a gamble for Newcastle

He will be prepared to be asked questions about the transfer window, he will be prepared for those questions but you don’t want to harp on about it; it’s history. Let’s move on - it sound cliché, but harping on about it, can create a negative atmosphere.

Let’s talk about the football, he’s a football man and Sunday’s trip to Swansea gives him the perfect reason to.

The bits in bold
Good write up. Makes perfect sense to me.
