His position is that net spend doesn't matter if there's a large outlay. He argues that Benitez overseeing £105m(?) outgoings and £85m(?) should mean that they should have improved. Yet he can't apply that logic to Barca selling Neymar and spending over £90m on Dembele. I've asked him to explain and all I get is "Meltdown :lol: :lol:"

Its quite simple, if you sell your car for say, £30k and buy a new one for £40k. You don't own a £10k motor.
He's spent money on players so the net spend is completely irrelevant.

Your talking about one player... Rafa has assembled you a full squad of his own choice costing 85m and it's a load of shite.

Don't see what Barca has got to do with it.

Net spend means fuck all he's still spent 85m+ on players.
