Probably needs players like Khazri, Kone and Ndong to go but nobody really wants them. Expect them to leave on loan 5 mins before window closes with us paying most of their wages

Wasn't he saying a few weeks ago that wages aren't a problem, it's just transfer fees. Yet here we are after Lens and Borini have left, unable to afford wages for loanees

This.. a total lie.. we have "no budget" or at best a pittance.. I think he will be sitting thinking what the fck have I got into here.. As said hes turning into a yes man for Short.. Nice genuine bloke having to tell lies for our loaner..
whhoooops correct again

God it's depressing, can't wait until short is gone and someone with sense boots out the yes men
the yes men, did you say the yes men ? Jesus

But talking about driving them away isnt speaking literally - you do understand that don't you?

A manager has to manage the situation. This isn't his doing. He's trying to put the onus on the players to perform or pressure on them thinking he may keep them here and panic them and their agents etc into getting something organised to go.

As for you trying to justify playing khazri - Wtf are you on about? He's not starting him, despite khazri probably being better than owt we have in midfield or attack (even with his suspect attitide). Nor is he playing djilobodji. He is playing kone though. Those comments aren't about justifying playing anyone. Surely you can get you head out of your arse for a minute and see than hat?
He's on a constant tedious wind up. You never see him when things are going well. As for Khazri no wonder he isn't bothered he's been treat appallingly by 2 managers who prefer hoof it and hope merchants.

Funny that, last season the wage bill was the problem and not the transfer fees.

And a a little sniff of whats to come next week?

One of those substitutes was Wahbi Khazri, who was booed by the away support having stated his desire to leave the club in midweek. The Tunisian has interest from Turkish sides after failing to force his way into the new manager's first team plans.

Grayson said those who wanted out had to prove they were worthy of a move.

"We know that after the window shuts we’ve got players coming back. Over the next few days its probably going to be a lot of hard work. You never know, nothing might happen. Obviously we want to bring players in and others going out will help us get even more in. We'll have to see where we go with it all, which is what we've been saying for the last few weeks.

we couldnt even attract the Aberdeen manager so it would have been clear during the interview process that we are operating on buttons until the debt and Short are gone.

i think if we can somehow land a striker and move on kone, khasri and ndong then Grayson can try and turn the rest into team.

a leeds mate said Grayson had them playing quite well with no resurces, so im still hopeful.

way too early to panic.

Why include NDong? He looks as committed to the cause as anyone, fits the profile of the type of player we're looking to bring in and develop and as far as I'm aware hasn't asked for a move. Are you making the judgement on ability, nor wages, both?

agreed. Judgement on wages and what may well be a large wedge to see off more debt. Once we get the debt down we have more chance of selling the club.
