And a a little sniff of whats to come next week?

One of those substitutes was Wahbi Khazri, who was booed by the away support having stated his desire to leave the club in midweek. The Tunisian has interest from Turkish sides after failing to force his way into the new manager's first team plans.


Grayson said those who wanted out had to prove they were worthy of a move.



"We know that after the window shuts we’ve got players coming back. Over the next few days its probably going to be a lot of hard work. You never know, nothing might happen. Obviously we want to bring players in and others going out will help us get even more in. We'll have to see where we go with it all, which is what we've been saying for the last few weeks.

Don't know whether to be

a) relieved we'll not be selling 6 players on deadline day, with none in

b) disappointed we'll be stuck with this poor squad.

Says to me that we are going to be very underwhelmed by the end of next week

think we all have this fear mate, all this 'hard work' going on behind the scenes for weeks now has got us the sum of almost feck all in improvement terms, hard to see much coming our way before the window closes especially with the manager not being allowed to spend.

I know you have form for this shit, but how is what hes saying negative given we know the situation and he's clearly trying to put pressure on those players who want out?

Those two highlighted bits by you show he's upping the ante towards the players who want to go, who probably think they're better than us, but are still here. It's a challenge one way or the other to them.

Driving players elsewhere himself and attitudes had to be right to proving they were worthy of a move?

Just trying to justify playing khazri as it goes completely against his original stance.
