He took 10 points from 9 games and they were promptly relegated. The mags make it sound like he had them in champions league form and that he had an impossible task. Utter bollocks.

They then hammered Spurs in a game when they were already down, and Spurs had just lost the title.

Newcastle didn't just have 1 bad season, due to Tufty, and slip out of the PL ..... they've been rotten for a while tbh.
