Looking at the side they had when they last got promoted you've got your kruls, collocinis, tiotes, carrol, nolan, Barton, Alan smith - plenty of streetwise, premier experience in there. Men, when compated with the boys they've got now.

Too early to tell but it'll be a long season for them and I don't think benitez is cut out for the battle. They'd be better off getting more of a pulis of a Pearson or a warnock in there now!

Probably would have been nice to have more than one of each of those, but IIRC there was only one of each.

Because they didn't spend 80 million getting relegated, then 50 million getting promoted.

I'll still take a guess that they're both paying much less in wages Aswell which is not included in the website

Because we wont pay the fee or the wages, tbf to Benitez, and you know im not a big fan, we piss around with offers teams just laugh at.

Now i know its not my money but if you keep scraping the barrel you will end up wth shit on ya hands one day.

He didn't spend £70m to get us relegated- tufty spent the vast majority of that on French wannabees.

Benitez almost kept us up despite the dire position we were in when he arrived.
And he bounced us back to PL at first attempt which is something I am pretty confident SAFC will not do.
And he will keep us out of the bottom 3 this year - mark my words.
