If they lose their first three matches i can see Rafa leaving because of the lack of a transfer kitty.

Clever bastard, now the fans will hate Ashley and still worship Rafa, claiming that he was driven out of the club after being given nothing to spend.
They'll ignore the fact that they've been beaten by a championship team, or that they were outclassed by a team in the PL for the first time, or the fact that Rafa took them down in the first place and they only came back up as champions thanks to a goalkeeping howler in another match
