And stupid.

Sums up the crazy world of football.

I agree and 11 of those will be against Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton. Which means they will need 35 points or there about from the remaining 24;)

Doesnt always work like that though, look at the points we took off the top clubs in our relegation battle 2 or 3 seasons ago.

I am well aware of that mate and the post was tounge in cheek, but if they get outlassed by Huddersfield and are 6 points behind them already, what chance do they have against the top 6?

Might be wishful thinking on my part but they look like us last year at the moment.

I think they going to struggle no doubt, but I watched that game and didnt think they were outclassed at all.

Neither were great, you are right, but as it stands the Mags are now 6 points behind a team they've said are inferior and whose signings wouldn't get into their team because they are so superior, apparently ;)
Aye but they lost their first 2 games last season.Still plenty of time for them to win the league.

They've got West Ham next week. Couldn't be an easier game for them to win, unfortunately.

But if they lose, they're in big, big trouble already :D

Don't think it will be that easy for them. Lascelles and co will struggle with the movement of Hernandez, if Lanzini is back as well could cause them all sorts of bother

I like the way everyone ignores anything he has done between leaving Liverpool and ending up at Newcastle.

Absolutely nobody questions how he went from managing the likes of Inter, Napoli and Real Madrid to a Premier League Relegation struggler.

Actually, most just seem to accept that he's been a success and it's absolute madness.

He took over Treble winners Inter and got sacked in months.

At Chelsea he took over them in 3rd place and 4 points off the title and ended up in 3rd place and 14 points off the title.

At Napoli he spent an absolute fortune and took a team that finished 2nd to 3rd and then 4th (outside CL place). He took a vibrant team and made them absolutely dire to watch.

Real Madrid he was hilariously out of his depth.

However he took advantage of a piss easy Europa League draw with Chelsea and won the Copa Italia with Napoli so he's the f***ing messiah.
