For anyone that doesnt like house music, this is not the thread you are looking for.

Anyway, last week or so I have found some absolute classics from yesteryear that I had forgot about. Check them out, anyone got any to add?

Get some nasty going. f***ing loved this in my House of God days.

Holy shit, that is some off the planet shit right there.

Love a good bit of Billy Nasty like. And this next one isn't a mix, it's live Techno Bollocks from Dave the Drummer. Really good this imo.

I used to have quite a number of Essential mixes on cassette, there are loads of them on youtube.
This is one I can remember.

Did you used to go out and listen to that? If so, where?

I did but was many moons ago when my hair wasn't greying and I could eat disco biscuits for fun. Was a club in Snowhill, Brum called Subway City had techno nights called House of God. Up there with Shelley's for a wild west flavour to proceedings like, no bother at all to skin up and have a spliff. Which was in marked contrast to the shitty-death Q Club where it was an SAS style mission to have a joint.

Lot of free parties in North Wales an all in the 90's were into this sort of stuff. As one of the resident loons put it; 'This isn't techno, it's f***ing anarchy.' Gets my vote.:D All them DJ's are still kicking about but only place I know of now is Ripsnorter in Bristol. Daresay the Liberator lot will rock up there still and be doing parties down Brixton way. Used to be a club called the Fridge down there which was cracking and always had some of this lot playing. Here's Chris Liberator very early in the morning still at it. Wouldn't mind a biscuit or five now like.

Just listened to this again about 2 weeks ago. Incredible mix. I wouldn't be into that kind of stuff these days, but it was superb all those years ago.

@1.27.27 there's some cracking 303 bagpipe fandango going on like. Some of the older techno stuff hasn't aged so good tbf and a lot of it I find difficult to listen to now. Acid Wars a good example. But I still like a lot of the modern day stuff and if I had a club on my door to go to, I still would. Having said that a good sweaty six hour dance workout would probably give me a heart attack nowadays.

This is a good mix an all but not certain it's either Carl Cox or Sven Vath. Still good like.
