Rafa. He's still not happy

But I'm still confident we can have a good season and not fight for our lives with the players we have and Rafa guiding them. #NUFC

Fine with Rafa
:lol::lol: Another special fucker.

He's admitted the club made mistakes earlier in the window, but has stated he's still 100% committed to the club.

The main worry to me is the those earlier mistakes he seems to be refering too, are missing out on Caballero & Abraham. Both it seems for different reasons but neither would fill me with confidence, I guess our budget just aint that big ;)

We desperately need a striker & could do with another left back/centre back, personally I'd be happy with avoiding the drop this season. Time will tell.

Happy to avoid the drop as long as mags retain the boat race, grand national and win the Super Bowl

I reckon Rafa feels a bit like he's backed himself into a corner here. All this 'doing it for the fans' shite is fine when you're trying to get one over on Fat Mike and co, but now he's realised there's a possibility he's going to come out of this looking bad if they spend £100m and he is not in the top half. He probably wishes he could bail and go to West Ham but if this contract stuff is true he's going to have to wait and bide his time.

Finny because all the time no matter what I think of the mags I always had Benitez down as a sound bloke after hearing all the stuff he did in Liverpool outside of their club. He's gone on like a spoiled brat at Newcastle though, I'd be embarrassed to run around after him like the mags saying he could do no wrong. Lad I know who is a mag was defending him today saying 'if Rafa signs him, I trust he's good'. He signed Manquillo :D and he has fucked up loads of signings too. Robbie Keane panic buy, Ryan Babel, Dossena, Riera, Aquilani... some big money spent there in the same bracket the Mags will be looking to spend. Fair dos there's a few good ones, but I'd say looking at this list it's not a foregone conclusion he buys quality even if they give him money

Blimey, a sensible mag.
Quick, catch it. Its a new species.

I'd almost forgotten about that snivelling shithouse.

That Schaefer tool was asking for it obviously. Surprised re sima as always he treaded very carefully.
If he'd come away with that shite anywhere but a message board he'd be having new gnashers fitted about now. Went right over the top.

If you put any manager's transfer record under the microscope you'll find a mixed bag.

Then looking at the likes of Alonso and Torres it makes it all look worthwhile.

The ownership at LFC in the early phase of his tenure were keen to rebuild the club and squad so there was always likely to be an overall deficit.

That said, he's being sorely tested by Ashley and it looks like he's going to have to make a silk purse out of a sows ear

But he created the sows ear himself

He's had what, 3 transfer windows now and brought in his own players ...... the excuse, last time, was that he was brought in too late.

That excuse doesn't work any more, he's a 'world class coach' so should be able to coach his team to success without any problem.

Ranieri took a sows ear, including ex-Newcastle, and won the title with it ....... go on Rafa!

It's going to be interesting that's for sure

He was on sky sports earlier saying he's ready for the challenge, but it has been frustrating. Didn't sound like a bloke ready to leave, not just yet anyway.

so rafa's not happy but will crack on, till another job comes along. rafa's just getting the word out, he's after another job. rafa know's rafagation is coming soon.

It was the premier league review thing on ssn. He was on talking about them. If he was gpimg to walk, then surely he would have just declined going on, saying he's too busy preparing or something? Can't see him leaving just yet personally.
