Rafa. He's still not happy

They've raked in half of what Bale would cost already by selling Walker and have made a net profit on sales over the last 5 years.....so literally haven't spent a bean since 2012.
they also have an 80k a week wage limit. SO if they break that for Bale they would have to give half their squad massive pay rises

Rafa at breaking point -> Newcastle sign player -> press comment on how Rafa has won another battle with Ashley by flexing his muscles and showing him who is boss -> all has been smoothed over -> Rafa throws another wobbler.

Two weeks later, rinse and repeat.

I've said it before on here, but Rafa is at this craic as he knows he fans will back him no matter what. What he isn't counting on however is that Ashley has proven time and time again that he couldn't give a fuck what the fans think. He is not going to put up with these public tantrums every 2 weeks during every window.

Been saying all summer that Rafa Benitez has become increasingly frustrated at @nufc over the transfer policy. He is now at breaking point.

So is this the start of another 500 page thread where nothing actually happens?

Can we not just tag it into the others ?

They are cringeworthy as fuck the Mags like. 'Rafa' this and 'Rafa' that. Imagine thinking your big time enough to call your manager by his first name.

Cant wait til he fucks off so they can get Steve or Kevin back in again.

It wasn't a mag who started the thread

To be fair to the people making the decisions above Benitez you can understand it as he filled the squad up with a number of player who most realised wouldn't be able to make the step up. That is fine and it worked for them but they were always going to struggle offloading them, most will need to leave at cut prices and most likely have their wages subsidising.

They were always going to be limited to a degree until more of the players they do not want leave the club

Saw a bloke at Ashington - NUFC under 23's last week with Benitez 9 on the back of his shirt. I was told this lad actually changed his surname to Benitez. I kid you not :lol:

What a coincidence mate. I was at Durham under 21's last week and this guy had "Grayson 73" on the back of his top. When I asked him about it he had actually changed his name to Grayson 73

Easy this

Proper managers and proper fans wouldn't get so get up about money being the be all and end all of a successful club

Chequebook manager. Even then he signs duds like Murphy and Aquilani. His signings last summer were largely a joke, filling the squad with crap bulk

100% this tried. I mentioned I'm glad we aren't spending money like they did this season on another thread, our resident unwashed said yeah cause ya wouldn't be happy to see Grayson spend 50 million.

After I said no not on Championship level older players and ones proven not up to the premier league no I wouldn't.

Asked him who Rafa brought in last year who he thinks could cut it in the premiership!

End of conversation with him that was.

And interestingly he's being told he can't sign players until he sells, many Mag fans blaming the previous mangers signings, no mention of the signings he made last summer.

That's against their pro-Rafa, anti-Ashley bias!

Ask them who Rafa bought last season that they aren't desperate to replace this and see them explode!

We have done the same in the past pay players more than they are worth then when we want rid no one will match it!

Absolutely we learnt the very hard way, we know from experience and tried to point that out .....
