:lol:Oh whey. Just seen it on the Bradford twitter. At least we'll get streams against the sides listed

Do we know why the club has opted out?

We won't, unless we've got kind Bradford fans sorting out hooky streams. It's going to be a nightmare to see any of us next season as things stand.

How do I purchase to watch all the Sunderland matches ?

I would like to watch all the Sunderland matches how do I subscribe?

Yes one moment
Your direct debit would automatically cut out and would no longer incur any further charges.

So for the upcoming season you would need to purchase a new iFollow subscription from your club's iFollow subscription page, but there are two different versions of the product both geo-restricted.

iFollow, an innovative digital live streaming and subscription service, that for the first time in English football, enable EFL fans based outside the UK and Ireland to watch their team during the regular EFL season.

Fans based in the UK and Ireland will only have access to live audio commentary, highlights packages and exclusive content as part of the new offering, rebranded to replace the EFL’s existing PlayerHD platform which now includes matches the day after the match.

If you are going to be residing in Spain, we recommend waiting until you are in Spain to make the purchase.

Best regards,

So I live in the USA what are my options to watch all the Sunderland matches? Do you have an App I can download and watch on Apple TV?

Yes, you are able to purchase via a mobile browser e.g. Safari on iPhone. You are not however able to purchase via the club mobile & tablet apps (which will be released prior to the start of the 2017/18 season).

We don’t have an exact time table, the latest information would be published on your club’s homepage.

- Just asked how to buy the matches overseas (USA) hope that helps

I emailed the club at [email protected] asking if games would be streamable for supporters outside the U.K. and received the following:

"Thanks for your recent email regarding streaming games in 2017-18.
At present we are awaiting further information and investigating the various options.
Once we have any further information to share we will of course do so.

Kind Regards
Karen"

I would recommend all supporters email the club, the more they hear from us the more likely they are to do something.

I have a VPN. When I switched it on and tried to sign up to a couple of clubs I couldn't get the international option to appear. Only the free pass and the £45 a year option.

I did notice that games that have been selected for international broadcast would not be shown by ifollow. So if you are abroad then you'll need a local sub to a tv provider or a stream.

In time for the 2017/18 season, the EFL has improved the PlayerHD service, which has been relaunched and renamed iFollow.

As part of your club's new website iFollow will provide overseas fans with the opportunity to live stream up to 46 live league games featuring their club within the regular EFL season. Season passes are now available for the equivalent of £110.

Fans based in the UK and Ireland will still have access to live audio commentary, as well as extended highlights and exclusive behind the scenes videos in HD, across desktop, mobile, tablet and app. Existing PlayerHD subscribers have automatically joined iFollow whilst new subscriptions, costing as little as £4.49 a month, are now available.

Select your club from the list below and sign up today!

Please note that the iFollow service is only available to clubs playing in the EFL during the 2017/18 season and who have opted in to utilise the iFollow platform. Those clubs who have not will have access to the same live streaming opportunity and will be able to provide their fans with access through their own club digital services. We are therefore unable to provide subscriptions to fans of Accrington Stanley, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Brighton and Hove Albion, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Fulham, Leeds United, Leyton Orient, Newcastle United, QPR and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Please contact your club for more information.

No idea why the article mentions teams that went up for but I'm presuming our games will be able to be streamed.
Really? I'm sure the other thread quoted £110 for the season.

Checked again. The £45 option was for one club who weren't offering video. Others like Sheff Weds are.
So VPN for $100 and iFollow sub for $140, $240 per year for all games except the ones shown by Sky and 3pm international games. If your team is popular then it's not such a good deal.

The club will be very reluctant to allow the matches to be streamed. For obvious reasons, they need to protect match day revenue and the last thing they need are streams making their way to illegal platforms

Why is Sunderland not part of Ifollow? I live in the USA & want to watch all the Sunderland matches. I am happy to pay $140...

You can only pay for Team' sthat are

Is Sunderland joining or not?

No they are not

You do realise that people with subs for opposition clubs will have Sunderland games so the games will be available for those who want to show them illegally.

I was under the impression (and this came from someone at the club) we are are opting out of the agreement. This would mean our away games could probably be shown as the home team will have the right to partake in the new initiative; but our home matches will not carry live streams. This will mean the opposing team cannot show the game

What your suggesting is that not only will the Sky and 3pm international games not being available then neither will games against Villa, Bristol City, Derby, Fulham, Leeds, QPR ,Wolves. There's no way they could get away with that.

Still a joke that foreign fans can watch yet fans based in this country cant. And that applies to the top division anarl. Absolute disgrace.
