Never thought I'd see the day when i look at the smoggies and feel slightly envious.
Sad times. Lets hope we don't sink any further.
Top 10 finish would be all we can hope for IMHO.

The fuckers liking your OP should tell you all you need to know.

Middlesbrough

TBF NN, I actuall dont mind the smogs on here. At least most of them show their colours, unlike the kernts from up the road.

If you want to be envious pick a Club like Man City or something not Boro for fuck sake lol!

Just laughable that us on here , are giving it big to boro , FFS man we are skint , we cant buy quality players anymore we are having to scrape around for div1 bargains and unproven kids , like it or not boro are on another level to us .
Never let the truth get in the way of a stabfest.

So where do u hail from then? South bank, Stockton or Redcar? Cos only a mutant could believe that they are better than us, ever. They are a very small club in yorkshire who look at us and the mags and know, even if they did a Leicester, they won't ever be anything more than shit on our shoes. So for anyone to envy them, their 12 fingers and thumbs, their shit town centre (yes it's worse than ours!), and their massive crowds, they must be f***ing daft, or a smoggie themselves.

Not sure it is. I worked in the town centre for 10 years and I actually think it's better, albeit smaller.

Nowt to laugh at really.

Boro is far from utopia, but I think it has better shops overall. The Next and M&S are much better, and it has a House of Fraser too. The railway station isn't a total shithole (literally!) either. Some good independent shops down Linthorpe Road (or at least there used to be) too, and some decent bars on Southfield Road where the uni campus is up and coming. Sunderland, like it or lump it, suffers from being in such close proximity to Newcastle, whereas Boro is the main town on Teesside and sufficiently removed from the above to be the main destination for the entire Teesside conurbation.

Without wishing to sound like I am giving an opinion of course and one that sounds like it is nonsense, I don't think Middlesbrough have done anything any more spectacularly better than us this season. When Simon Grayson was appointed (and this is my first opinion of his appointment as it happened when I was "away" getting some proper peace from the SMB) I thought (not that my opinions are worth much on here) we had just settled for second best. I thought (not that my thoughts are worth much on here) Gary Monk was a better and more secure manager. But signs have been given to me that Simon Grayson is at least earning marks for things few others ever did. Talking about what he did in the press conference and giving a tongue lashing to those not pulling their own weight a good example.

The only thing I am envious of is the £14m signing of Britt Assombalonga. I wish we could spend that much on a player. But even then I don't know anything about any of their signings. I don't know anything about our own. I have naturally never seen them or studied them.

To be honest mate, your opinion is worth just as much as anyone else's on here. Stop putting yourself down, mate. Some interesting points there, especially about the new manager. I have no opinion about him at all, except that what he has said so far seems on the right track.

As for Boro, good luck to them. Really good owner.

You're acting like a facebook mag fanny wtf have shops got to do with football or footballers. I'm sure they've heard of the internet. I really couldn't care less who has the best shopping centre, cathedral or bridges.
