Nah, their top order Amla aside is average.

I don't get this apparent obsession in the media that Jennings needs runs as his place could be under threat. He made 100 in his debut test, 50 in his second test in very tough conditions, then dug in last week to make an important 30 odd on a tough deck last week in his third test, where most of the order crumbled. He seems to be doing ok IMO.

De Kock is excellent. Elgar and Du Plessis both pretty handy as well.

4 tests isn't a lot I admit. But he has 212 runs in 4 tests. Including a ton and a fifty.

I'd say both teams are evenly matched tbh at the moment.
