This bloke will be different.Hes been a Peter Reid type at every club as is well known. The others havent.....
He will do what he says he will do,bookmark this.
Add to that competitive matches are his way of finding out who is up for it.
Its way too early to get the knives in.
Aye. I don't wanna join in sticking knives in. Am just not convinced and am sick of hearing the same stuff year after year.

Two weeks in and he's reached the same conclusion about the squad Moyes did two weeks in.

It's hideous.

And Cattermole said in the last game they were pretty much running on empty after excessive training + tue/sat games ready for the build up of the Championship season. I take the result with a pinch of salt, especially given there will be more comings and goings
Agreed Marra, rather us lose in pre-season and wakes up the players to the Tuesday, Saturday weekly games, SG knows we need to strengthen for it and get rid of the ones who don't want to be here. Today was a valuable lesson for the players and SG, hopefully we will learn from it

I get the impression he knows what he's doing. Just got to get behind him and let him crack on. Just hope Ellis opens up some funds for him to work with going forward

Think people need to understand the crap we are in as a team and club. This situation took 10 year to create and will take years to recover from.

Get rid of Kone, Lens, Rodwell, Khazri Mannone, Catrermole etc and build new foundations, as the manager says with young hungry players who will run and work for the shirt.

There's no overnight fix and we just have to back the manager to improve the squad slowly and build a team ethic and direction

Larsson a huge miss today

You've definitely got your fishing rod out there like

Well of course there's something wrong.
We went from finishing the season before last playing top 8 footy to easybeat relegation fodder.
He's inherited a squad chock full of shite and been here less than 3 weeks.
He's handed out the clean slate treatment and for a few it will work and the rest won't care.
It's preseason. Dry your eyes.
Really stick that knife in ( as you seem dying to do ) after 6-10 games when the window has shut and hopefully the team is taking shape ( or not )
Hideous ..A Hunter s Thompson fan?

Why does every post you make end up littered with snidey remarks?

Just stick to the football content and one day you may even contribute something interesting.

Am not even going to respond to the actual relevant content in your reply because what's the point in engaging you in discussion?

I'd take what Moyes says with a pinch of salt.
Indeed. He had gone mad in his last few weeks.

Actually that's to give him credit, more likely was he was smoothing the way to walk away with what he thought was some of his image intact.

But it would be hard to not conclude that half the squad have no interest in arsing themselves for Sunderland.

I'm not sure of that. In fact I'm convinced it's bollocks.
