Grayson Out

The signings have been unimpressive? Beyond that I've not seen or heard anything that sets me blood coursing through me veins. Just another journeyman lower league plodder on what I've seen and heard. But he STILL deserves a chance. Too early for the Grayson Out posts.

Do not take this as a hostage to fortune!!!
I agree. But am not keen to post such views for fear of the reaction.

So I shall wait and see and hope for the best.

Wasnt it this forum that had someone declaring something special was about to happen this time last summer?

A cool hopeful semi-optimism is the best I can muster.

Some of the rampantly positive stuff on here this last week has been canny amazing tbh hailing the wonderous positivity about the club and the bargain world beaters we've signed.

Have a listen to his post match interview he's not said anything on there which wasn't said a thousand times last season on here.
He's got a culture of failure, lack of effort and plain unprofessionalism at times to put right which won't happen overnight.
In a way I'm pleased it happened today so Grayson can identify those that are the problem and if needed ship them out.

History shows they are world beaters when it comes to getting rid of managers who expect them to graft. :)

Yes. Let's wait and see but it's hardly negative to point out an absence of quality or to argue that the new manager himself doesn't have a record of creating soundly defensive teams. (@redgauntlet) Think if it as an antidote to the silly 'we'll win the league 100% ' posts. Personally I think we might struggle but Ill wait till November to actively judge.

Areet marra. Pleased to see you. And yes, quite.

3-0 defeat to them with that team man. Expect kone and Lens to leave. So that’ll be 8-0 to Derby

At risk of getting this post deleted knowing how well accepted my opinions tend to be on here, and I hope there is someone in the world who is willing to accept my opinions, and I know I said to myself I would never give another opinion or post a thread ever again, but I don't know if we can be so negative about a manager in pre-season. At the start of the season maybe but not when the players are so match-unfit. And a lot probably won't have gotten used to the managers new way of thinking.

Anyone?

He is now finding out what Moyes was feeling, be thinking what have I let myself in for here. We've had manager after manager and the solution always seems to be sack the manager but we never learn from it.
He walked on with open eyes..and with a clear understanding of the constraints. If he hasn't done his homework and known what everyone else has said, no sympathy for him.

Exactly this. I've been amazed at the number of people on here in the last couple of days....and earlier today after the team announcement....suggesting that a side that included Mannone,JoS,Matthews,Papy,Kone,Rodwell,Cattermole,Lens and Khazri could somehow be a good unit ready to challenge for promotion! Wake up and smell it.....these players are bad for us and need to be moved!! Shankly, Busby and SAF couldn't motivate the lazy, greedy and/or useless bunch.....Grayson has no chance! Leopards don't change their spots. We need a thorough clean up!

My god put your rattle back in the pram ffs, only pre-season, 6 first half minutes of not concentrating cost us, 2nd half was better, SG has time to get rid of the crap and sign a few more players before the season starts
And Cattermole said in the last game they were pretty much running on empty after excessive training + tue/sat games ready for the build up of the Championship season. I take the result with a pinch of salt, especially given there will be more comings and goings
