Benitez Future In Doubt Over Failure to Secure Key Signings

I wonder if Ashley actively wants rid, he doesn't care what the supporters think and he won't like the power battle or the way Rafa is leaking things to the press.
In power battles with Ashley there is usually only one winner

Even in court, getting accused of slave labour and breaching employment laws, he basically said "I'll have a chat with the people I have running the company for me, I didn't realise this was going on"

He might aswell have said "so what, it's nowt to do with me"

Yep this is the bloke that refused to turn up at the house if commons despite being instructed to do so. He doesn't give a shiny shit :)

Aye, but we know Grayson is a solid championship manager.

You are one of the mags going on as if Benitez is one of the best managers to grace the game, but compare his time at Newcastle with Roy Keane's time at Sunderland, and he has done worse than him.

It's alright though, you cling onto that champions league trophy he won over a decade ago mate - it's certainly helping attract all those signings

Solidly sacked at every championship club he's been at

That still remains to be seen, he has delivered nothing yet imo.
You were a premier league club when he arrived iirc.
He delivered automatic promotion for a relegated side at the first time of asking, with only 1 transfer window. How many other managers can claim that?

He's also done intangible work away from the pitch that has value.

Roy Keane, who came in after we'd lost the first 4 games.
Rafa had two windows to win promotion last summer and January
