:lol: This, I finished work at half 6 this morning thinking when I wake up perhaps the takeover will be complete. Had a shite sleep and then woke up to news we are saddled with Randy Lerner's twin and were hoping to poach Preston's manager.
 

Fuck me, lost for words at how bad things have gone, 10 f***ing consecutive seasons in the premier league and it has come to this, f***ing Short wants suing for gross negligence.

Ok,he's not what most of us wanted but he's here now so we must get on with it and get behind him, show him what a great club this is and how we back our own if they are given it 100%.
 
A very underwhelming appointment. However, we'll just have to hope he'll surprise some of us and do a good job. A Yorkshireman normally has a thick skin, he's probably going to need one.

Who would you have appointed that has a better record and wants the job?
 
it's great appointment for me. a young, hungry manager who wants to be at a club where he can make a mark and put his own stamp on, at a club desperate for stability, and the time to start a rebuild from top to bottom.

instant success in terms of promotion might not happen but i think we're looking beyond just getting straight back imo.
