I spoke to a bloke who was working on it last week and he said one bit was going to be an off license/mini mart type thing and the other side was going to be a pub.
 
Was a SAAB and Honda dealer in the early days
Pretty sure it was Saab only to start with? My dad bought his new S-reg Saab 99 there in 1977 and I vaguely remember us going back a few years later when he was selling Hondas as well, trying to get my dad interested in them too.

As an aside, the Saab was a bizarre lime green colour, just like this one. Quality car it was, built like a tank.

I remember going in there in 1980 as a primary school bairn and picking up the brochures for Hondas and Saabs for the car pictures. You may be right that they started first with Saabs but they were a dealer for both in parallel for years
