Horrible to hear that mate. At least you were with her for some comfort.

My Lucy is 13. Got her from cleadon kennels when she was 7 weeks old and got away from her house.
Been together since and we're all she knows.
She's beautiful and I try not to think of the next few years bearing in mind she's 13.
Think I posted pics about a decade ago on the dogs thread at the time....no idea how you'd do it now :lol:

Shite that , sorry to hear about losing her especially in those circumstances

If you want another after a while we have a tatty brown and gingery one you can have - will even drop her off

Sorry to hear that. Dunno why we put ourselves through it with pets but they become family.

She's only one year old. I've got a springer also who lives with my old man. I got him when I still lived at home and when I bought my house me dad was virtually in tears thinking about not being with the springer.

Both dogs get along great. the springer does spit his dummy out though when he can't keep up with the whippet :lol:

I've always wanted a dog. It's just not practical as we have a saloon type car, we often have holidays in this country (i.e. A fairly long drive), I work most weeks and we're often out late. I agreed to have children in exchange for a dog. Seven years later... 2 kids no dog!! I've been short-changed.
