It doesn't make sense if he was the man Short and Bain decided they wanted.

It's suggesting a degree of mutual agreement in this when in fact it's not.
We wanted him enough to wait 4 weeks and put all our eggs in one basket and he clearly has body swerved us.

Murphy would be worse than our youth players man he's past it, that's too much praise because he never had it to begin with.

Paolo did it in less and the rot was even bigger than the shit the had.

Didn't say he didn't do it but he struggled after spending so much money on shite.

Criticise him all you like but Murphy scored goals at that level...he got 7 or so for us that proved crucial and didn't play that many times at all

You'd prefer untested youngsters over proven experience at that level???
