From what I can gather we have never had a kit with 10 red stripes. Certainly never had one with 10 red stripes, a red back and a massive black splodge where the badge should be
 

they need to come out and say who designed it and whether they think it will increase sales. its looks absolutely crap

Have to agree with some other posters too with regards the launch. Keeping it local and the community aspect rather than some overpaid knacker rocking up for a photo shoot and the resulting photos being published on the club website.

I really quite like it..until you see it on TV or at the match I suspect. Its suddenly not SAFC anymore. Its pink with a red back

The reality is, it's a poorly designed, cobbled together shit show of a shirt.

It gets boring having a similar strip every season and you can't do much with stripes. Even if we emulated the Rowell strip or the Bilbao strip, we'd still be in the same position next season trying to do something a little different.

This isn't 'slightly different' though mate. It's like taking the front and back of two different shirts, neither of which resemble a traditional Sunderland strip, hoying them together and hoping for the best. I'm all for mixing it up and there's plenty of ways you can do that, but I really don't like this one at all.
