Atsu completes £6.2m move to Mags

I'm sure the fantastic footballing mind of Rafa Benitez had great reasons for starting Gouffran more often then Atsu, maybe because Gouffran offers a more defensive quality, maybe because Atsu is a more effective player off the bench if the roles were reversed, again the important question is, which you have dodged much like the previous questions I have asked, is why Newcastle have yet to offer Gouffran a new deal, while opting to pay £6.2m for Atsu if Gouffran is "better"?
What makes a player who could barely start a game in the championship ahead of f***ing Gouffran worth paying £6.2m for ?

You do realise you're on about a manager who thought forcing Xabi Alonso out of Liverpool and trying to replacing him with Gareth Barry but ending up with Aquilani was a good idea right ?

Lad you're a idiot log off

Answering my questions with more irrelevant questions, you're wrong and you know it.

You do realise Benitez was the one who brought Alonso to Liverpool right?

A third time, why Newcastle have yet to offer Gouffran a new deal, while opting to pay £6.2m for Atsu if Gouffran is "better"?

Time gentlemen please - like Newcastle this thread is going nowhere

Then I will repeat my question which you failed to answer, what suggests that our squad will resemble what we had last season?

Probably the fact you've bought players from the Championship, increased their weekly earning potential and then expect them to freely drop down to play in the Championship again, after winning promotion to play on less money. I can't see many going for that personally.

You should try reading the thread, here are previous comments that answer those questions:

"You mention "the money that they are likely to be on", which is something that a lot of people like to mention, a lot of those people are uniformed, Hanley's wage is estimated at around £20,000 per week, Gayle's wage is estimated at £35,000 per week (potentially lower) and Clark's wage was estimated at £30,000 per week before the Newcastle move, for a former captain, a star striker and an experienced Premier League centre back, those are low numbers in my opinion, based on those numbers I think it is sensible to assume the likes of Murphy (Ipswich), Sels (Gent), Lazaar (Palermo), Ritchie (Bournemouth), ect... will be on a similarly low(er) wage."

"Again you are now undervaluing what "Championship level players" earn."

"Think about the business that Newcastle made logically and impartially, a club purchased a player (Hanley as an example) from a Championship side (Blackburn), to play for another Championship side (Newcastle), that player assisted his new club in winning the league title. The former describes a player who is earning a similar wage to which they were previously earning who now has an increased stock value. That doesn't sound like an impossible player to move on."
