Next season's kit

Club needs to recognise that gold is a shit colour for strips (unless its the 1998 bile one, that was class), comes across as arrogant or self-celebratory. Four colours in a clubs set up is too much. Red, white, black.

Shorts should be black. We aren't stoke.
Last year they said the club had a long link with the colour gold. Other than it being a part of the badge since 97 I can't think of any other connection

Was that just a fan mock up in the end then? The away kit we actually got that year was pretty nice anyway.
yeah it was, but a very convincing one at the time. I recall a lot of fans getting very excited by the prospect of it.

The mock ups are almost always better than the real things. Should have fan competitions on kits that can be submitted, selected by the club and then voted for by season ticket holders.

All Adidas care about is flogging as many shirts for as little outlay as possible, there's no need at all to give us a custom design. Sales will be about the same anyway as 90% of people who buy kits will do so regardless of what it looks like.

True. Looking forward to getting rid of Adidas and Dafabet.

Would save money on designers... Although going by their annual half a dozen lazy templates, they probably have one bloke "working" on a one week per year basis.

Wasn't Claremont Garments part of M&S
Were they not owned by William Baird? - a holding company who had offices in Glasgow and manufacturing plants in Sunderland, Glasgow, Grangemouth and Oswestry iirc.
They had suppliers deals with M&S but no real underpinning contracts, just order to order basis - M&S decided to go overseas to cut costs under Stuart Rose and the whole operation was split up.

WBA new kit is awful, we've had the same templates as them in the past so ours probably won't be too far off.
