Tbf I didn't mind tombolas logo it wasn't as crap as dafabet or something. It was simple
That's very true actually. That one was decent. Just as well because we had some cracking kits then too and it would have been a shame to ruin them.

I picked the home kit from that season fairly recently it's a class kit. Got decent enough stripes on it as well

I'm not 100% certain but I think they're a Nike team wear distributor so if they sign a kit deal with lower league clubs they have the option of using Nike or their own Avec stuff. Lower clubs will announce it as a Nike kit deal but it's actually with avec who buy in template stuff and the add the badges and sponsors.

Their website says they're based in Spennymoor, always thought they were french or something.

Says we were their first kit sponsor too.

The one with the black neck like? Quality that one! Considering getting it myself depending on what next season's looks like

They were originally part of Claremont Garments which had a few local factories. Might have even been a joint venture with the club to get them up and running. Must have split off as a separate company further down the line.

With them being so local there was some sort of scam that went down where the lasses in the factories were hoying loads of new gear in the skips to get picked up later. There was a canny black market going on where you could get training tops and bench jackets for next to nowt!

From time to time clubs make their own kits as I presume they cover the lack of a kit sponsor by making more money per shirt sold. I can remember Southampton making their own kits under the brand 'saints' and leicester did the same with 'fox leisure'.

Was trying to remember the name of Claremont Garments for days a few weeks ago. I got one of the avec ones from one of their factory shops as a bairn and couldn't remember for the life of me what it was called
