10pts for Magedia.

If you hate it, don't watch it. If sufficient people stop watching it because they believe there's some kind of unfair bias, the "bias" will sharp be addressed.

Also, from what you've described it sounds like they lead with an update the big scandal coming out of Newcastle United that's making headlines nationally, then followed up with a report about how your club looks likely to be relegated, which is hardly breaking news.

What a stupid thing to say. The BBC is funded by people throughout the North East and they should expect unbiased reporting on the news programs. This does not happen, ignoring biased propaganda enables it to be fed to the masses.
You, of course, do not see it as biased at it favours your team and shows them in a positive light (which we all want to hear). Also people switching off will not change the content of the program, why should it?

Is reporting on the MD being arrested showing the club in a positive light? If the stories are negative and they report it, then that is just reporting the news. If the team has lost again, then how do they show that positively?

It has happened many many times.
I can only assume you are a mag, as I said, you would then not see most of it as bias.

I don't watch local bbc news much. Too much about Cumbria on it for my liking.
Prefer tyne tees as its more specific to my region, rather than look north.

Just a typical fan of any football club, I'm afraid. The media doesn't give your team enough positive attention and they are kinder to your rivals.

It's all bollocks like.

This thread reminds me of the whole match of the day running order argument that surfaces on twitter every Saturday when MOTD tweets the running order "you always have us on last" - fans of whoever's on last.
Negativity bias in full swing

You need to live in the real world or you are a mag or a wum

I wish you would go to a mag forum with your like. What a sad man you are.
