You have been desperate for years for us to go down, but when you are in the same league as us, we prove time and again that we are the better side and it eats you away inside.

You may be back up, thanks to the bloke who was partly to blame for taking you down, but you know which club hammered that final nail into your fake cardboard coffin.
The same team that has made you their bitch for years.
The same team that you celebrated taking a point off like you had won a cup final.

Enjoy being the whipping boys again, next season!
Sadly we have missed our customary 6 points off them. If we had them we would still be in with a fighting chance. The black n white bstards.

He isn't. He couldn't beat any of thr bottom 3 last season. Came when you had 30 points to play for and finished the season with you in the bottom 3, when you were outside the relegation places before he came iirc.

No other club wanted him. None.

He has made this season look painful, even after spending an embarrassing amount of money.
We'll be fine. If your shit playing losers can scrape your way into second.
You seem to think Newcastle are somehow better than Sunderland.

Recent history shows otherwise.

No.

Aye. I don't think our usual humiliation of them would have been enough, though.
They on the other hand have a chance of more points, thanks to our abscence. They pretend they don't care.

After what I have seen of them and the Championship in general, this season, I think even in our current state, we would smash them.

Little Newcastle.

Apart from the fact that in each of the last four year a relegated team has come straight back up

It meant in the last 6 seasons only Burnley and Newcastle have came back up automatically. Two out of the last 18 relegated. I was surprised it was that low.
Obviously there is the play offs where teams like QPR, Norwich and Hull have came up via that route.

Considering the absolute state of the club and off the pitch when he arrived, he did what he could just wasn't enough time, we finished the season 6 games unbeaten with steady improvement, and considering his CV I think we can give him the benefit of the doubt that he will keep us up next season and hopefully bring in some quality signings.

Hes made his mistakes this season hes not perfect, and a lot of results have been ground out and we've won ugly, which we did last time we were in this league too.

Scraped our way in to second? We're 9 points clear with 2 games left, some scrape that! Don't let the facts get in the way though.

You have won a string of derbies and somehow that makes up for decades of us winning derbies regularly and having consistently higher league finishing places, not to mention recent european football, better attendances, and still far far more coverage even in the championship. We are a few miles down the road and we can still attract managers of Rafas ilk, and far better players.

Yeah but apart from those times too? They've done very, very well. People said it couldn't be done. That £130m in 18 months wasn't nearly enough investment to win both relegation and promotion, back to back. The double. The whole world has learned a lesson, and don't you forget it.

Barcelona of the North iirc.

Ah ok. The rest is right though.
You thought you were automatically safe when he rolled his shameful kite into your circus, then he proved how overrated he is seen by the rest of the footballing world and took you down.

Steve McLaren would have took you back up this season, with what you have at your disposal.
He may not have relegated you in the first.place.

All fat Rafa has done is return you to.where you are before he made a right mess of a simple task.

No one wanted Rafa... You paid through the arse for him. Same as you do with players.
Yet somehow Ashley apparently doesn't spend.

If Huddersfield weren't so shit, you would have been 3rd now.
They gave it to you. Fancy finishing behind Brighton and celebrating it.

The "not enough time to save us" shit doesn't wash.
Not with SAFC. We have escaped far worse with far less.

And yeah, we are the historically bigger club and you hate it.

Shouldnt belittle them they have beaten Reading and Huddersfield to automatic promotion, though I guess wont beat Brighton, but have probably spent more than those 3 clubs combined to achieve it.

Anyway Sunderland, Brighton, Hudderfield or even Reading are not their rivals as they have told us many occasions that Man U are.

As an animal lover the one good thing with them winning last night was that no horses were in danger.

Any of the Newcastle fans on this thread NUFCThreatLevel off twitter, he's mentioned this thread a few times on his twitter feed. He's one of the special ones talking about and mentioning SAFC constantly. Even took time out to retweet SAFC'S tweet mentioning Moyes Birthday. Bless him.

Rafa has pulled in £30million more than he spent and we've coasted to promotion. What a f***ing manager.

There's another thread which claimed something similar but has been thoroughly debunked, by definition the automatic places don't fit because 3 into 2 doesn't go. Over half the teams relegated have finished top 6 the following season.

Just a load of white noise inflated by your massively biased opinion.

Boring.

Fake news.
Thank fuck. Are you still in the Championship then?

Everyone will enjoy the premier league a lot more next season now you've finally been flushed out, competitive league the championship will be next season, you might do a Leeds tbh.

Imagine pretending Rafa isn't a very good manager, blinkers of the highest order.

See he was talking about selling half the squad in the presser after the match last night. Image if cockney fatty doesn't give him the funds next year. Imagine what might happen

All we need to do to come back up as champions then is get a manager who isn't an idiot who can sell enough players to make a £30m profit this Summer to keep the club afloat, and then send out the shit we have left to piss all over Huddersfield, Fulham, Leeds, Boro and whoever else. Doddle.
