Would i mind being called RB sunderland - no
Would I mind playing at the RB arena - No
I would prefer for us to be successful organically but id take any success over this!
wouldnt bother me one but, we would still and always would be subderland just a while lot richer and with a great future to look forward to
It depends if the 'rebrand' was loyal and respectful to our history. You could argue that the move to the new stadium and change of badge within a few years was a rebrand.
So we'd be a lot richer for a while, with a name change to subderland and it wouldn't bother you but what?wouldnt bother me one but, we would still and always would be subderland just a while lot richer and with a great future to look forward to
nah wouldnt bother me marraSo we'd be a lot richer for a while, with a name change to subderland and it wouldn't bother you but what?
Im not sure that we would get any fans other than local onesRed Bull rarely invest big sums on players so you'll likely be renamed alongside your kit changed, Would that really be worth an extra £20 million or so a season to spend on players? You wouldn't become another Chelsea or Man City and money doesn't guarantee success - we finished 4th with Marcus Bent up top whilst we are 7th right now with Lukaku.
Would be a disaster for any club, you'll become the most plastic club in England which would be a shame as Sunderland are a proper football club.
But they arent going to are they so bit of a pointless question. If Redbull bought out Ellis Short tomorrow and wanted to rename us Redbull Sunderland would you have any issues with the re-branding?
Some deluded people on here thinking a Red Bull takeover would bring success. As you said RB wouldn't have us competing against the top 7.Red Bull rarely invest big sums on players so you'll likely be renamed alongside your kit changed, Would that really be worth an extra £20 million or so a season to spend on players?
