Does Rafa Benitez get criticism from Newcastle fans?

All I've been hearing is he tried to sign this knockheart(?) lad, so all is forgiven for a 2nd place finish.

Dunno if that forgiveness stretches to a playoff place though...

Their target will have been to get promotion. It'll likely be achieved but they should have blown that league away after spending £50m.

No, Brighton won promotion. Remember that Irish Cockney bloke called Chris who wasn't good enough for for you?

He's plenty good enough for me next season mate. He's a top Championship manager, and would be a lot more likely to get us back up than Moyes.

Your last comment seems to hint at something. If it does, then you sir are an enormous cock with limited mental agility, and I suggest that next time you chose to make hints you do a little background research first :-)

Now kindly do one.

Pardew spent less than £20m in his first full season and finished 5th in the premier league followed by one of their most successful European campaigns - hated

Benitez relegates them despite the easiest run in possible and then spends £60m and might just scrape promotion - loved

Cos its suits their ego mate, massages it

Nobody outside of newcastle gives a flying a fuck about them, however they HAVE to pretend to be a big club and by having a former real madrid manager they assume thats enough to make them just that to the outside world

This place is superb. The Mags won relegation but are now losing promotion. :)

Because their winning relegation was all based on the fact they would rebuild and come up stronger. In fact they are coming up much weaker, with their best players still the ones who got them relegated last season. Now however they have a shit load of championship deadweight!

Rafa has wasted their opportunity and is gonna need to spend big to keep them up imho.

I for one hope we tackle relegation entirely differently. Fuck the deadweight off, make sure we don't sign any more deadweight and build again. Even if it takes us a couple of years to come back.

My mate and his da are both season ticket holders at Sid James's and have been going for years- pre Keegan. Neither of them rate him like and have slagged him off from the start.

They have bought a load of championship plodders as well. Gayle and Murphy and not good enough for the Premier League and shifting them on could be difficult.
