I like it, but it's pretty much just a wheat beer isn't it?

Nowt but a marketing gimmick.
That's Innis & Gunn alledgedly.I haven't tried it for fear of it actually being Tenants.

Uses a clean American yeast as opposed to a traditional Wit yeast for the bland American "I don't like yeast esters" palate IIRC.It is literally a witbier. I think it's crap, personally.
Hope the orange bloke at Blue Moon earned as much as the ice bloke at Magners must have.
Thats odd cos I dont like it without, but I do like it with.
Why?
The creator of MolsenCoors (sp) admitted that the orange was just a marketing tool used to get peoples attention when it was served at a bar. It has worked a dream like as I doubt this would be anywhere near as popular without it.
Same as the lime in the corona gadgie.
Thats not to say it doesnt make a difference though.
Unless you squeeze the orange in, I doubt it'll do much really, even then, it'll just make it taste slightly orangey.
That works spot on, even though it wasnt its original intention. Any fruit will make it less fizzy.
Wasn't it originally to keep the flies away, or is that a myth? If you squeeze a big wedge of lime through the bottle it'll squeeze some lime juice in and if it's at the top you'l drink the drink through the lime. So if you like lager and lime then it'll "work".
Not sure what throwing a slice of orange into a pint glass does really though?
I had read that and yes a lager and lime combination will work.
As I said, put fruit in any drink with any fizz to it will make it less fizzy.
Still marketing mainly I reckon. People love owt like that.
Of course. The lime with Corona idea is good because Corona is tasteless piss.

It already tastes orangey, it gets the peel put into the boil along with coriander seeds.Unless you squeeze the orange in, I doubt it'll do much really, even then, it'll just make it taste slightly orangey.
They're doing Gin and Vodka too. They'll sell owt.
