Protest At The Man United Game

Not sure what you're saying? I think showing respect to Bradley and his family is a completely separate issue to the OP.

I do agree that it puts things in perspective, terrible news.

Now, I don't know myself, what I was meaning. With the post from Speedy, I just thought, what can be worse news for that family and now his extended family. It just doesn't seem worth getting into a lather about relegation, when it has been staring us in the face for so long and now the news about brad. I know what I am going to be more upset at.

your right it was badly worded, sorry

A think ya still allowed to protest if yu dont accept the invite. A think maybe people might not even know theres a protest planned and will join in if/when it kicks off. Just a thought like.

It's bad craic connecting the two together. Completely different discussions.

Yeah I totally agree. I agree that ultimately things like Bradley put football into perspective. But for me I still care about SAFC and our well being as a club, so I'm not really happy just watching us fall, even if compared to life and death matters it isn't anywhere near as important.

What I was getting at.

This is going to be our 3rd worst top flight season ever, so out of 85 seasons in the top flight, 82 have been better - so there hasn't been loads of worse times at all.

Regarding the Buxton era etc, yes they were shite but we weren't saddled with £140m of debt. It's quite possible it could be about to get even worse than those days.
For most of my time we have been in the 2nd Division and even the 3rd Division. Under Short we have been in the top flight for the longest time since 1958. I agree the debt is the big issue - going down, we should be big enough to take as fans. This will be my 9th relegation and I have been expecting for at least 4 seasons - I'm sick to the back teeth of life in the Premier League. If it wasn't for the debt I'd be quite happy for a season or two in the Championship - the debt, however, is a worry.

I protest that the Bovril and Tea has to be paid for, it should be free.

Agreed mate. Only 500 people been invited and 100 of those are attending or interested. Not a bad % like, but even if there were 20,000 saying they were attending some people on here would have a snipe at it like.

We've been mismanaged to the point we're going down in 20th place with the second highest debt in the league and people think protest is cringeworthy :lol::lol::lol:
It is cringeworthy. Yes we're shit but organising some protest through Facebook - it looks like it was designed by a seven year old - is still embarrassing as fuck.

Put it this way: It's like the Mags when they have these things. They might have some legitimate grievances for all I know, but just look at the embarrassing clip of these fuckers man and they've still achieved fuck all apart from humiliating themselves.

100 is a start. More will do it the worse things get under Moyes and Short. And they will get worse it's inevitable.

Fair play for people making a stance and doing something. I'd never mock or bully fans for doing that.
Some of the people whinging on this thread will be starting their own protests in 9 months when we're bottom of the Championship and Moyes is still manager
