Protest At The Man United Game

They only really turned on him in that Wigan game. At least the majority anyway. Think we were more than patient with him and he would have gone then anyway. Neeone protested. They just booed him

It was a protest mate, not organised but it was certainly an impromptu protest. I disagree with you mind, he would have remained in charge had the fans not called him out. He didn't stand a change after that. It was the straw the broke the camels back and Short knew it. Quinn wouldn't have sacked Bruce if he'd had his way.

Empathy has well and truly set in. The replies in this thread Alone just show how many can't be fucked anymore.

Safc fans being gutless in not even trying to force the issue shocker.

Do what you can then mate and ignore the miserable gets.

This is the worst part of it for me. Fellow fans would rather pour cold water on it and are listing excuse after excuse for Short and Moyes.

I wish we hadn't, it's been downhill ever since.

Personally I think standing outside in protest would be far more powerful. The cameras would pick up on it and would finally raise awareness within the media circles.

At the moment, the general fan would likely think we're quite content to meekly go down and are satisfied with how the club is being managed.
The TV tend not to publicise crowd demonstrations, or protexts especially outside the ground. They can't hide an empty stadium from the caneras

Tbh, I'm hoping the crowd turn on Moyes inside the ground and make his position untenable.

Do you think the crowd turning will make his position untenable - I think Short has made his mind up.

I also think we need to be asking asking broader questions of SAFC than just Moyes.

TBH I find the whole 'just don't go' not good enough for me.

I've been going to SAFC games since I was 10 years old and it's been a massively important part of my life for years (as I'm sure is true of many others on here).

If we were going down due to bad luck or just not quite getting the results I would completely stand by the club. But this has been on the wall for 4 years or so now and IMO is the result of absolute negligence. And sorry but SAFC means too much to me just to drop it because of a useless owner and an apparently clueless manager. I would, personally, rather do everything I can to tell the management at SAFC I'm upset and furious with what they're doing than just not turn up. I'm pretty sure I won't be going back next year but so long as I have a ticket I'm going to tell the club exactly what I think of this shower of shite.

I understand others may be so sick of it they just don't want to go but for me apathy is not the solution to this. We need to tell the club exactly what the issues are.

Need to bring back your 'SCUM' avatar imo.

It might make him think again about resigning.

There may be other problems at safc, but Moyes is the one that can be removed immediately if the powers that be so wished.
