Shots and explosions outside of Parliament

Imagine thinking saying racist things isn't a crime if it's in your house. I'm going to start dishing out loads of beak, but only in my house

Both are illegal, and you will only not be arrested if it's not reported or discovered.

That's nice dear.

You need to explain what you mean more clearly, but I'm not surprised as coppers aren't always the sharpest tools in the box.

Yes I know, that's why I said that's the way I understood it.

I explained it clear enough for others to understand, it's not my fault you are struggling.

Make sure you drag in a few of those ethnics of the streets into your house, abuse them and then kick them out. No hate crimes ever committed iirc.

Calling people black twats, even in your own house isn't a thought, it's a racist comment and thus a hate crime.

What if you said it to the telly?

Or to your Black mate in jest?

Or said in the old meaning of being dirty?

Could you still get arrested for that, legal experts? If so, what the charge? And the likely punishment?

If anyone hears it being said to the tv and reports it you're fucked. Same applies to your Black mate, if he reports your jest, you're fucked.

Surely they'd have to have evidence such as a recording, otherwise it's one person's word against another's, eh?

Officer - 'what seems to be the problem?'
Neighbour - 'him next door was watching The Cosby Show and I distinctly heard him say 'Cosby I think you're a Black Twat''

[knock knock]

Other neighbour - 'Hello officer, what's the problem?'

Officer - 'Your neighbour said you called Bill Cosby a 'Black twat' which is an offense under the penal code section C paragraph 2.'

Neighbour - 'No no no, I said 'Cosby I dig your flat cap''

Officer 'Do I look like I'm stupid?'

Neighbour - 'Well you are wearing a tit on your head.'

[biff pow cosh splat kapow]

Officer - 'You're facking nicked son and we'll throw in resisting arrest and assaulting an officer of the law for good measure.'

Pretty much.

Who said it wasn't? Have you quoted the wrong person?

I stated being racist isn't a crime,which is true.

No, but you were responding to someone who responded to someone saying it wasn't a crime to say racist things at home.

If you have a victim and it passes the necessity test you can be arrested.

I don't see duffman saying that. No, I haven't.

No, he responded to someone saying it isn't, saying it is. You then responded to him saying it isn't :D

Anyway, just to confirm, if you're at home watching TV and saying racist things at a black person on screen you're committing a crime. Glad we all agree.

Jesus wept

How would you know if that person was racist if they only thought it ?

Give your head a shake
Exactly. You wouldn't. That's my point.

What are you on about? He said being racist is a crime, I quoted him saying it wasn't. It's not inception ffs. Do I need to read the twenty people before you to understand your quote and comment? Its ok to make mistakes, you know.

Being racist is a crime (unless of course you're arguing just thinking racist things rather than ever voicing them, which would be an utterly ridiculous point ) and the person you agreed with was saying you can hurl racist abuse about at home and it's fine.
