The Situation
Striker
It has been depressing for the most part, especially the last few seasons, but we have had some canny moments along the way too.
Any favorites that jump out to you?
- Chopra's last minute winner against Spurs in our first game back
- Richardson's free-kick to give us our first home win over the Mags in 28 years
- The signing of Darren Bent and his goals that came with it
- Miracle escapes of the last 4 seasons
- Six in a row
- The 3-0 vs Everton at the end of last season
- Beating Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge
- Not Premier League obviously but the cup run of 2013/2014, including Old Trafford and Borini opening the scoring against City in the final
If forced to pick one I'd probably go with the Everton game at the end of last season. It was party central from 55 minutes onwards, safety secured and sending Newcastle down. With Allardyce at the helm we finally had the right man in charge to get us away from the constant relegation battles. Kaboul's tears. Of course it turned to utter shite in true Sunderland fashion but that night was absolutely amazing.
