How long have you been a gamer

Years and years. Started off with those pong machines and that jazz. Then Atari/Intellivision. Then got my first real computer which was the Spectrum 48k. Commodore after that (was my uncles who used to let me borrow it) and then onto Megadrives, playstations, xbox, PC.

Will be playing games till I die I reckon. 40'odd years of age already.

Late 80's Spectrum 128K. Must have spent hours just loading and reloading games from cassette. Looking back at the graphics now its amazing how we put up with rubbish like that.

1990- Amiga 500+ cartoon classics pack. Best christmas ever.

Started out with the plug into the tele thing you could play 2 stick tennis with ffs back in the late 70's/early 80's, then progressed to the zx spectrum 128k+2, then the Amiga, then PS1, Ps2, PS3 and now the PS4 (kept my PS3 as the bairn has loads of games for it).

I remember the Amiga pack we got having "Nightbreed" in it and me, my 2 bro's and dad all chipped in (cost £500  IIRC, f***ing expensive to say the least). My late brother also had his own Amiga that he managed to get online with back in the early 90's in the start of the internet days, (had a modem etc).

My sister had a NES and then a SNES which were gotten rid of by the time i was about 6. First system that was "mine" was an Amiga 500 which I've still got. My first console was a PS1, would have been my 7th or 8th birthday. I got Colin McRae Rally and Three Lions with it

The Amiga was class like. I spent absolute hours playing Simpsons & Captain Planet then I was obsessed with magazines with demos on the front- spent hours playing them as well

Ahhh those were the days, getting home from school, over to the mates, fire up the megadrive and play Fifa 95, Michael Jacksons moonwalker  , James Bond The duel, Jungle Strike, Golden axe 2, sonic, micro machines, beavis and butthead

i remember when me and a mate used to play the arcade version. one day we someone how managed to get infinite energy and completed it.

my first console was the atari 2600. used to think kangaroo was class and must have done over 100 levels on it

Had a Commodore 64 in the 80s. Remember playing Kickstart and Mr Puniverse. They seemed to be my favourite games.
Played computer games ever since.
Think I clocked Sonic about 1000 times when I got that.

Had a "Grandstand" pong console thing initially, then...

Spectrum 48k
Spectrum 128k +2
Atari ST
Ps1
Amstrad Mega PC (at 386 SX25 pc and Mega Drive combined)
Then PC all the way
(although I currently own Ps2/Ps3/Ps4/Xbox/Xbox360/NDS/3DS).

Same here

Clocked Bart Vs the spacemutants but not captain planet.

Still get a hankering to play lemmings once in a while and emulate it for an hour or two. Great game until it rewinds back to the start and makes it ridiculously difficult.
