Played for them? Yes I know what it means. I travel up and down the country watching us. Most mags on here however think it means being on here whilst their team is playing.

If I could be there I would. I did my time following them up and down the country when we were really really shit. I am talking vetch field, the dell, goldstone ground. horrible grounds

The unwanted gift that just keeps on giving

Before I checked I thought that reading were still third, big deal.

Still leading from the back then eh?

Just imagine if we stayed up and you stayed down :lol::lol::lol:

I did this a few days ago: How many points?

I think 97 pts will ensure promotion.

If Huddersfield mimic Burnley last season in the remaining games, they will get 96 (58 + 38)

If Brighton do the same as last season it will be 96 (64 + 32)

If Newcastle mimic Middlesbro' last season it will be 96 (65 + 31)

If Reading repeat their finish in 2010-11 = 96 (55+41)

After last night it would be:

Now revised to:

Huddersfield 98
Newcastle 96
--------------------------------
Brighton 96
Reading 94

Newcastle & Brighton were never remotely home and dry. It will go the wire.

Huddersfield and Reading seem to be improving.

The skunks are going/ will go up without any doubt tho cud be tighter than envisaged at start of season.
They can as of now get a ppt of 111 which means if they drop 7+ points, they've failed to better our 105.
Something to hope for !

They'll be guttered lols

Some cracking games in the Championship and Sky do have the majority of them

Wouldn't have minded seeing Huddersfield vs Reading next Tuesday either but that shite Champions League rule has put paid to that

Some excellent games like you say.
Will probably watch most of them , work permitting

You might still.

We definitely would. Defoe would score 40.
If relegation does happen I think its wishful thinking to believe Defoe will stay with us. The nanager is gonna have to show his worth by wheeling and dealing like othet relegated managers.

When we go, Kone, Defoe, N'dong, Catts, Pickford and Khazri will all be sold imho.

The current squad will be totally overhauled with the loan players returning to their host clubs, JoS, big Jan, Anichebe, Pienaar and Larson probably being freed, Djilibotchup will no doubt think hes too good for the Chship having played top level in Germany and want to go, and maybe even one or two others going.

Moyes or whoever will have a real tough task in putting together a chship winning squad as he'll not get half of the money he generates - will be lucky to get 25m to spend.

Mannone, Jones, Oviedo, Gibbo, Watmore, Gooch, Honeyman, Love and McNair will form the ''foundation'' of the squad - quite worrying to be honest.

I always thought they'd go up after the huge amount of money they spent but now I'm not so sure.

Their lead from 3rd place has virtually halved in 6 weeks and they have 3 successive away games against the rest of the top 4.

After seeing their comedy defending, last night, I think their lead isn't bombproof any more.

They have to play at places like Sheff Wed and at home to Leeds where anything can happen ....... Villa are hurtling towards relegation and desperate for a result.

Still time for some fun ;)

Aye, just need some saps to give you £55 Million for Rodders and Clattermole, sorted !

totally agree - this closed season is going to be incredibly intense.

There will be more outgoings than the mags had, but I doubt as many incomings.

Tbf to the FSW, his policy of buying players who either know what the chship is about and topping it with experienced guys like Clark and Diame, has proved shrewd. Maybe the way to go for us ?

Defo still time for some ''fun'' as you put it, BUT, they should have battered Norwich, and now, they have Gayle coming back in to finish off the chances that Mitroshit, Perez and Dazza have been spurning. Can't see them losing at any of the top teams as theyre solid enough to get bore draws. Achilles heel could be at home.
Villa is a potential banana skin as if they do happen to click/gel, they are capable of causing an upset with some of the players theyve got in there.

All very hopeful. Always said that as long as they get to approx 40 games in touch. theyll get themselves all excited and win the last few.

Two weeks time on TV. Brighton vs Newcastle on the TV. Home end has been out for over a week now. Ticket Exchange means tickets can be got though.
