I always thought they'd go up after the huge amount of money they spent but now I'm not so sure.

Their lead from 3rd place has virtually halved in 6 weeks and they have 3 successive away games against the rest of the top 4.

After seeing their comedy defending, last night, I think their lead isn't bombproof any more.

They have to play at places like Sheff Wed and at home to Leeds where anything can happen ....... Villa are hurtling towards relegation and desperate for a result.

Still time for some fun ;)

If Newcastle are sill top after 11 March 2017, they must fancy their chances. Brighton, Huddersfield and Reading (all Away) before then. Then it would be a crisis if they crash.

They have had remarkable luck with injuries so far and as injuries tend to be cumulative I bet that will last them out until March.

Remarkable luck with injuries? Gayle was out for a month, shelvey was suspended five games, Anita is out for the season, Aarons is out for the season. Diame, Atsu both mssing for a month due to ACN. That's six starters that missed games almost at the same time. Dead lucky that mind. Murphy was out for a bit, as was mitro.
