I never realised that personal fan faverite's HAD to be measured against the very best. My Bad, hold on though Bob Stokoe is (rightly) immortalised outside your ground is he not? Now yes he won A cup, but that is all, 1 cup Sir Alex should be ashamed.

What I don't understand is why is it ONLY Villa?
Could understand the effort if it was Sunderland or even Boro.
There's plenty of clubs I dislike, but not enough to make banners about when playing against them. It's just mad that they seemed to have such a problem to the extent of banner making. Most people don't like us, but they must really really dislike more than others us for some reason

Apparently we only have aspirations of finishing 17th in the Prem every season, mate. What do you expect? :lol:

Villa went the extra mile and daubed it on some sheets, it has nowt to do with rivalry, they just enjoyed seeing you fail. Not through jealously, either. :lol:

I get all that. Just don't get what pushed them the extra mile.
It wasn't just then though. There's been dodgy away trips to Villa for a few years prior. Most people don't like us but they properly hate us

At his peak (93-97, before his injury) I'd suggest it's up for debate with plenty going for Shearer.
