We should never have been in a position to only have 14/15 players. With limited funding for 10 players
Totally agree. Because we've signed cheap unmovable shite and put them on high wages we never start a season well because we have to offload to sign people. Added to that we had the spiv Allardyce promising his agent mates this and that with his dodgy fat gob then leaving at the wrong time. Moyes is the right man, Bain seems a better appointment - we just need Short to get his finger out and back them not more mess.

I've hated him since day one. Would love to get rid.

Hate is too strong a word for me. I didn't want him and I find him the most depressing dour and miserable manager we have ever had. I do make some allowances for his shortened transfer window and injuries. Despite that I think he's a disaster as a manager. His hand has been forced sometimes in regard to team selection and formations but his use of substitutes beggars belief at times. The team don't look as though they are happy with him and his methods. We don't seem well-drilled and disciplined or in the main motivated and committed. I cannot think of any improvements he has brought on to the field of play since he came.

I think Short will stick with him and if relegation happens he will be here for half a season in the championship before being sacked following similar form to this season. I hope we can pull off some magic in adversity this season but it will be a real miracle if we do.

Goodness knows what alternative we would come up with but However much I want SAFC to succeed I cannot see Moyes providing the impetus required.

We have been doing this since we were promoted

What planet are you living on? They wasted the whole summer budget and we're going down.

This.

Totally agree with all that, hate is a bit harsh but I just find it so hard to get behind him. He's so unlikeabke and the results against boro, Swansea and Burnley are an embarrassment and a disaster. Really don't know who I'd prefer, in honesty anyone, Gary Rowett or someone would be preferable.

The continual merry go round of sacking managers going back to Keane then Bruce is precisely why we are in the state we are in Burnley are an example of precisely why we need to stick by Moyes, look at Swansea now they are getting into the same situation.
Managerial stability and not knee jerk sacking is what we require.

He did, should have spent it better. It's obvious now we should have paid the money for m'vila. Also he could have found someone better than n'dong for that money, though I understand a lot of that transfer was in installments which many clubs wouldn't have accommodated. It's not easy when you have wage restrictions and a low budget to bring in quality but he should have done better. Some of the lads Moyes signed in the summer will hopefully get better in the future, they weren't just for the short term. We need to get away from always thinking short term - that's why we're in this mess. Sam did brilliantly and worked wonders in January but he has had bad windows before.

I don't think the summer window warrants a good manager like Moyes to lose his job. Aside from yesterday he's in the main got the best out of the limited squad he has and I still think he's the right man. Relegation wouldn't change my mind.
1st paragraph I can't argue with, 2nd one I disagree with.

Moyes own words...

Honest and a major dig at the players, but it really doesn't reflect well on him either...

"I think that is a bad a performance as I have been involved with, in any side, especially defensively," Moyes told Sky Sports.

We were useless. It is not easy to explain, as you expect players to stand in the right place and head it, track people, go for the ball at the right time, save it at the right time."

What do they do in training??

Where's the motivation, heart and focus??

Why are half of them crocked with revolving door injuries??
