i'm sure it's 2 loans per season and not 2 loans in the squad at any one time.

They were both season long loans. Unless there is a break clause you cannot just arbitrarily send anyone back. We have almost certainly paid a fee in respect of each loan too.

Usually, there's a stipulation with season long loans that mean there is no recall option during the season

Except Pickford is that valuable. He is currently being voted as the 2016 young player of the year on one website and no doubt he deserves it. His potential is huge and £20m is small change for a game changer like this young glad.

He probably would love to stay here in an ideal world but if he has any ambition about him then he will be away.
Be a proper shame if he goes anytime soon as he's just starting to look the real deal. Few more seasons here is what I was hoping for at the very least.

Absolutely nobody wants to see Pickford go, not even himself really he loves the club as only a true fan can.The stark reality is he will go either now or in the summer , if it is now It would be good heis loaned back to see the season out, he will go for more than £20 million once the bidding war starts with London and the North west, they like all of us can see he is going to be the number one England keeper, probably the best in England in a relatively short time.The boy will leave in two minds but it's his future he has to consider and he will always be one of us.
