If we keep him his value will always go up

I'd like to hear one argument about why Stones is worth more, he simply isn't,

Only Sunderland well sell on the cheap after 6 months like, be typical

He's worth more in the team than that money, he has won us points already
One argument - keepers go for more than outfield players and always have done

Not disagreeing with any of that, but we won't get much more than the quoted figures and if we're financially in the shit then we will accept that kind of deal.

Shite for clubs like us but it's just the way it is.

Everton never before had a talent like rooney but they flogged him.
Spurs never had talent like bale or modric but sold them.
We're perennial strugglers with a big debt caused by crap managers we all wanted and who short supported.
We keep pickford and we get relegated. Will that make you feel all warm and fuzzy. If the story is true you can ve damn sure he'll be chomping at the bit for many reasons.
Much much bigger wages , better players, playing in europe and a fantastic city with an incomparable lifestyle.
Love your jumpers for goalposts sentiments mind.
It is very unlikely the money would be reinvested. Id give us a better chance of staying in this league with the lad in goal until the summer.

Pickfords value can only be defined by how much someone is prepared to pay for him. He is the best young goalkeeper in the richest league in the world.

£20m is a drop in the ocean to the biggest clubs in this league and if they want him they will pay what is required and I can imagine an auction occurring here.

An Arsenal £20m bid will soon be followed by a City £25m bid.
Best young keeper? He isn't even close to Thibaut Courtois or De Gea, lets not go mad.

Anyone who wouldn't be against this has to ask themselves what they f***ing want from supporting SAFC.

We won't see another goalkeeping talent like Jordan playing for our club in our lifetime so why sell him ?

The £20m will only reduce the personal loss Ellis walks away with if he does sell up.
This. I'd keep him for as long as he's happy here and wants to stay. I wouldn't consider selling him unless he wanted out. With no guarantee that the money would be reinvested we'd have to be loopy.
