Our support that day was absolutely incredible.
Even for people who were at the Old Trafford semi, the 3-0 at SJP or Norwich last season I'd find it difficult to explain.
It was like a force of nature that swept everything before it ....... we took Liverpool over and they stood back and let us.

We started off in the Kop, with around 500 lads who gradually found each other ...... being marched along the touchline to the away end was something I'll never forget.

I was there with my dad. Was only a bairn. Until I was 10 he wouldn't take me in the away standing areas, only in the seats (away if there was one, but home if there wasn't). That day there was no seats left when we got there (can you imagine turning up a game without tickets and expecting to get in these days!!!!). He still wouldn't take me in the away end so we went in The Kop. We talk about it every now and then, conversation always starts with "Dad, WTF!!!!"
I remember that like. We stayed in The Kop when the main bunch were moved rather than go into the away end.

I've seen some so they exist.
The Scousers took offence at us being there, for some reason, and dished out a few sly digs ...... when we 'found each other' no one came near us and the polis wanted us out.
They tried to force us outside but we refused so they took us to the bottom left corner of the Kop and took us onto the running track.
As we walked along the side, past their stand, a few came over but we just growled and they shit their pants. As we neared the away section a chant started up and grew louder & louder so we raised our arms and joined in ...... even the Scousers were grinning and applauding.
That kind of thing will never happen again.
