I am trying to do the 92 and have realised that even though I have only done 70 of the current 92, I have already seen a game at 92 football league grounds past or present. I have done 16 grounds that have been demolished and 6 that are still in use.

Question is, have I missed any ex Football League grounds that are still in use?

The ones I can think of are (Been to the ones in bold);

Darlington Arena - Darlington
Victoria Road - Dagenham and Redbridge
Sincil Bank - Lincoln City
Prenton Park - Tranmere Rovers
Holker Street - Barrow

Moss Rose - Macclesfield Town
Recreation Ground - Aldershot
Deva Stadium - Chester City
The Racecourse - Wrexham
Plainmoor - Torquay United
Bootham Crescent - York City
Haig Avenue - Southport
The Shay - Halifax Town
Edgeley Park - Stockport County
Derwent Park - Workington Town

Must be the odd one I have missed?
I have scored at Derwent Park, header off the crossbar, down over the line and back in play, 1966 world cup final style

AFC Fylde 9-2 Boston  going miles clear at the top, Darlo getting beat.

Danny Rowe's scored another four to take him to 28 goals for the season.

Any of you have read my book/heard or read interviews will know that the Dagenham and Redbridge story is a great one!!

Well, yesterday their chairman invited me to the game as his guest. I had to miss our game but thought it was a great opportunity.

WHAT a day it was. These were players playing for their livelihood. The challenges were proper and there was no rolling around from the players. The whole thing was just a throwback to what football used to feel like.

There were 133 Dag and Red fans there, huddled in a corner; sporadically making noise and getting drenched!!

Dag and Red won 2-0 and have a couple of quality players, one of which could really make our level. Really looking forward to going again!!

PS - the book will make a great stocking filler

It is on sale with A Love Supreme - go buy a copy, it will make you laugh!!
