Anyone know if Janet Pippen is still acting as Chair? Pete was a sound bloke but he'd had enough so went off to do some other work.

Think so, aye. And when you knock off the 6 quid ticket, 2 quid programme and 3 quid for a pint, it's 14 quid for a 3 course meal.

Dunnl what the view will be like in the room, so will probably be heading out to watch the match, unless we get more apocalyptic weather

Get there dead sharp for a window seat-( we got a choice but it wasnt sold out that week). Great for the warm up etc excellent view, but even if shit weather I couldnt enjoy the game from there

Cant see anything on Google, which is why I asked. Itd be good for them not to have a replacement for Pete, might mean their eye isnt fully on the ball still.

I will be at the Shields-- Chester le Street game, North shields that is.
South Shields are the clear favourites to win the vase, I would be surprised if they do not get to the final.
