1) PDC was an obvious mistake from the outset IMO.
2) De Fanti was clearly underqualified.
3) Congerton hardly had a good CV.
4) who's decision other than the owners do you think it would be to challenge alvarez deal? In a business , where there's a decision that amounts to challenging almost 10% of revenue, of course he would have the final decision.
5) byrne was clearly underqualified - and he let her get away with bad decisions. She had an obvious impact on on the field decisions. How can that not be his remit? That was his second in command and she left in disgrace?

So, to clarify .....you'll be at the gates protesting, as a matter of principal, but will just walk off if people don't join you?

Yeah. I posted this to see what the unofficial spokesman of the Sunderland supporters thought and since he disapproves I've decided to call it off and will only resort to abusing the players in future as he suggests.

PDC wasn't a mistake from the outset, as he kept us up when we looked as good as down, obvious it wasn't working early in next season so got rid. De fanti and congerton didn't work out, he tried to stop money being wasted, failed yes and he got rid of them, so that was his mistake. He doesn't tell managers who and whi not to sign and all he done with Alvarez was back his manager, not his fault at all. Byrne, whatever her role was, she wasn't on the training ground, doing team talks, picking the side, telling managers what players to sign or sell, so that makes no difference to what's happening in the pitch.

Basically, he made a mistake in the long run with PDC, who many loved early on with his what's right and wrong with these players and trying a DOF model, that does work btw at other clubs, to try stop the money he's put in being wasted. Again, he realised this wasn't working either and binned it for Allardyce. Backing his manager again. Aye mate, totally deserves a protest, Fuck me.

What about Bruce, O'Neill, advocaat twice, Allardyce and Moyes, who everyone was happy about? likewise when he got rid of them? he's spent money to make us competitive and its been wasted. He's made mistakes, but tried all he can realistically do, to make us better as well. Protesting against him, personally I don't think is right at all. Especially when I really think he would sell and leave if he could anyway.
