BBC Albania only stopped broadcasting in 2011, actually:This is my favourite thread, one, to not realise BBC Alba was BBC Scotland, two, to think there was a BBC Albania, this conjures up Paul Whitehouse as the presenter, at first I thought it was a critique of Scottish football but when the OP said BBC Albania ........

Not quite sure why I'm telling yous this, however;
I am degree educated in engineering.
From Sunderland, lived here 40 years, bar a few dalliances.
Used be North East & Scotland area manager for a large Oil & Gas company, for several years.
Used to be engaged to a lass from Manchester who studied at Edinburgh uni at the time so lived up there on weekends etc. for years.
I'm literally class at general knowledge.
First time I've ever come across this Alba carry on is this thread
