The fear for mags is that Benitez is SO good that he might be tempted to leave for a top European job. He could basically pick a job after what he has done at Newcastle

:lol: nope not at all. as it stands I reckon they'd be favourites. but still, would love a derby and it would maybe be the pressure catalyst to get us going again
 
The big worry is, that when they are promoted (probably by end of February), FMA will back RB to the hilt.
Benitez will strengthen the team paying little heed to what happened during this season. He is hard headed and pragmatic and won't feel loyalty to players who he doesn't think might cut it in the PL.
Thank the Lord he wasn't appointed 4/5 games earlier than he was !
Mind it has to be said that the Chship (always still really Div 2 to us veterans), is a mediocre league, and with the large parachute payment, mags, Norwich and villa should be shot with shit if they don't make it back straightaway.
