The re run of the canoe gold on the news reminds me that I had a go on a canoe machine which is like a rising machine but you paddle a bar (with weights/tension added to mimic water resistance) and really loved it.

I've noticed the collective "Team GB" messaging. Can't blame them really, but it does all come across a bit scripted when you hear the same lines repeatedly.

Big team, lots of support from coaches, physios etc. couldn't have done it without lottery funding ...
